Meet Dr. John Minoli
“I will prepare, and some day my chance will come.”
– Abraham Lincoln
Plastic surgery by its very nature can provide a sense of re-birth – a personal renaissance; something restorative for the body and even the mind. Healing occurs on a physical level … to be sure … but on emotional, mental and spiritual levels as well. When personal treatment occurs on all levels, no matter the condition, there follows a more wholesome experience, a more complete sense of care, a greater depth of understanding, and a growing appreciation for the mind-body connection. This transforms the patient … and the doctor.
I was transformed during my childhood to pursue a life in medicine & surgery. As a boy I was surrounded by doctors (the profession tracing back at least 4 generations in my family). Medical stories were a regular part of my youth, and so early on I grew steadily aware of a doctor’s life. Through advancing educational & volunteer interest, I ultimately completed 2 surgical residencies, 2 fellowships, 4 board certifications, and over 10 years of post-doctoral training in surgery – general surgery, head & neck surgery, and all forms of plastic surgery. In the process, I lived across America – the lakes and drumlins of upstate New York, the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia, Missouri’s rich river valley, the palm-lined boulevards of southern California, the open plains of Texas, Manhattan’s Great White Way, and the Strip of Las Vegas. I learned, researched, and practiced the healing arts while caring for thousands of souls from all walks of life. And I grew more appreciative of America’s landscape with its vast size and broad culture … imbibing as much local flavor as I could … and arriving to the conclusion that surgery is one of the most compassionate forms of art.
I have much clinical experience to share. I am board-certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, the American Board of Facial Plastic Surgery, and the American Board of Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery. I am also a diplomate of the National Board of Medical Examiners and a fellow of the American College of Surgeons. For over a quarter century I have been a clinical teacher of surgical residents, a lecturer in the field of plastic surgery to professional and lay groups, and a television guest on NBC, CNBC and The Learning Channel. I remain dedicated to bringing you competent and compassionate care through the channels of my training, preparation and experience.
