What Is BodyTite?
BodyTite is a workstation with minimally invasive operations that produces results previously only possible through excisional procedures. BodyTite offers bulk tissue heating and subdermal tissue coagulation using directional radio frequency (RF).
How Does BodyTite Work?
- A direct electrical current runs from the cannula’s tip to an external electrode on the skin’s surface, achieving a consistent heat field.
- Maximum fat contraction and coagulation of the fibrous septa are achieved by focusing all energy in the treatment area.
- The ideal temperature gradient, controlled at both ends, is between the skin’s surface and the internal electrode.
- Real-time RF power is auto-adjusted based on impedance and temperature measurements.
- Uniform epidermis and subdermal layer heating are achieved with power control and temperature monitoring.
- Both “stamping” and “moving” treatment procedures are possible because of the innovative cannula tip design.
What to Expect?
We will perform your BodyTite procedure, typically taking four hours, in our office. Our skilled team will use the minimally invasive BodyTite techniques under a local anesthetic or mild sedation. The time required may vary based on the area(s) being treated, and we will provide you with a more precise time estimate during your appointment. We will introduce the sophisticated BodyTite applicator into your skin through tiny incisions during the procedure. The heat generated will remove fat and cause apparent skin contraction, resulting in tighter connective tissue and skin. Once the procedure is complete, we will cleanse and dress the tiny incisions, and you’ll be provided with sculpting (compression) garments to wear.
After the procedure, you must be driven home by someone else. You ought to return home and rest following the treatment. You must wear your sculpting garment 12–24 hours daily for up to ten days. Your contours and skin will continue to tighten and restructure over the following four to six months, and you will start to see results immediately. This procedure is aided by the shaping garment, which also hastens your recovery. The total downtime can range from 2 to 10 days, depending on how many areas were treated and what area you had treated.
Benefits of BodyTite
Considering a BodyTite in Las Vegas, NV, you should know its benefits. Here are some of the advantages of BodyTite:
- Minimally invasive: BodyTite is a minimally invasive procedure requiring smaller incisions than traditional liposuction. This results in reduced scarring and a quicker recovery time.
- Fat reduction and skin tightening: Unlike conventional liposuction, which primarily targets fat removal, BodyTite simultaneously reduces fat and tightens the skin. The radiofrequency energy delivered during the procedure stimulates collagen production, improving skin elasticity and firmness.
- Quicker recovery: Patients experience less bruising, swelling, and discomfort after BodyTite than traditional liposuction. The procedure’s smaller incisions and gentle nature contribute to a faster recovery, allowing individuals to return to their regular activities sooner.
- Natural-looking results: The combination of fat reduction and skin tightening offered by BodyTite results in more natural-looking outcomes. It helps avoid the saggy or loose skin that can sometimes occur after standard liposuction, particularly in patients with reduced skin elasticity.
- Safe and effective: BodyTite has been clinically proven safe and effective for appropriate candidates. The radiofrequency technology used in the procedure has been extensively studied and refined to minimize risks and maximize patient outcomes.
While BodyTite offers many benefits, it’s essential to remember that individual results may vary, and only some are ideal candidates for the procedure.
It’s crucial to consult with a qualified and experienced plastic surgeon like Dr. Minoli to determine if BodyTite is suitable for your specific needs and goals.
Ideal Candidate for BodyTite Las Vegas Procedure
Here are the qualities that make an individual an ideal candidate for BodyTite:
- Good overall health: The candidate should be in good general health, without any significant medical conditions that could increase the risks associated with the procedure.
- Stubborn fat deposits: Ideal candidates should have localized areas of stubborn fat that have not responded well to diet and exercise efforts. BodyTite is not a weight loss procedure but is designed to target specific fat pockets.
- Mild to moderate skin laxity: BodyTite is most effective when there is mild to moderate skin laxity (sagging) in the treatment area. The procedure helps to tighten the skin, so candidates with moderately loose skin tend to see the best results.
- Realistic expectations: An ideal candidate should have realistic expectations about the outcome of the BodyTite procedure. While it can provide significant improvements, it’s essential to understand that it may not achieve the same results as more invasive surgical procedures like a tummy tuck.
It’s important to note that the ideal candidate may vary depending on the surgeon’s assessment and the individual’s unique circumstances.
Q: What areas can be treated with BodyTite?
BodyTite is effective for various body areas, including the abdomen, thighs, hips, arms, knees, and neck.
Q: Is BodyTite a weight loss solution?
No, BodyTite is not designed for significant weight loss. It is best suited for removing small to moderate amounts of stubborn fat and tightening loose skin.
Q: Are there any alternatives to BodyTite?
Yes, other body contouring procedures are available, such as traditional liposuction, tummy tuck, and non-invasive treatments or injectables like CoolSculpting and Kybella. Each has its advantages and limitations, so it’s essential to consult with a qualified provider to determine the best option for your needs.
Q: Can BodyTite be combined with other procedures?
Yes, BodyTite can be combined with other cosmetic procedures like a facelift, breast lift, breast augmentation, breast reduction, and body contouring surgery like arm lift or thigh lift to achieve more comprehensive results, as determined by the patient’s aesthetic goals and the physician’s recommendations.
Q: What is the difference between BodyTite and liposuction?
While both procedures remove fat, liposuction primarily focuses on fat reduction, while BodyTite combines fat removal with skin tightening benefits, resulting in more sculpted and toned contours.

Yes, we do procedures like rhinoplasty, liposuction, tummy tuck, breast augmentation, breast reduction, breast lift, facelift, arm lift, thigh lift, botox, laser resurfacing, and lip augmentation.
